OBDII codes maybe detected and logged during a diagnostics scan of specific sensors by the PCM at start, when the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve is gutted or disconnected. The provided plug eliminator (Figure 1), used will stop the PCM from throwing the dreaded code.
This also will prevent the EBV from closing if it has not been gutted. It will always remain open.

Ordered in a Tuesday, paid extra for 2 day shipping and it arrived 6 days later. I would like to know how it works but it is sitting at the house in a box…. I couldn’t wait for it to arrive ( eventually) and had to leave for my month long hunting trip. I texted the sales department but no response. I could have bought the same item from Amazon for $20.
