The XDP Bellowed Up-Pipe Kit XD178 for your 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke is the fix for a common issue that robs power from your engine. Due to expansion and contraction, and extreme heat cycles, the factory installed "donut" gaskets designed to seal your factory up-pipes will begin to leak over time. When this happens, engine performance can be reduced drastically.

The XDP Bellowed Up-Pipes eliminate the troublesome "donut" gaskets and replace them with a durable steel crush gasket that will not blow out or leak over time. The Up-Pipes feature a bellowed design that allows for expansion and contraction without needing to rely on a finicky gasket.

My OE up-pipes were leaking pretty badly and we’re pretty rusted. I will admit, these are not particularly easy to install, it took me about 4 hours. They are also a little tough to line up with the turbo, but loosely installing everything and working the collector pin towards the turbo did the trick. No more leaks and the boost is much more consistent and the turbo spools quicker now that these are installed.
